What is BrandStills?
BrandStills is an iPhone and Android app that turns ordinary phone photos of a product into studio and lifestyle product photography, keeping the real packaging, label text and colours of the item you photographed.
How is this different from a general AI image generator?
A general image generator invents a plausible product. BrandStills starts from photos of yours and locks what must not change — label text and language, logo, silhouette, finish, how many items are in frame — before it renders. You are directing a shoot of a product that exists, not describing one that does not.
Do I need photography skills or equipment?
No. A phone photo on a table by a window is enough. There is no lightbox, tripod, backdrop or editing software involved.
How much does BrandStills cost?
The app is free to install and comes with starter credits. Each finished image spends credits, and more are bought as in-app purchases through the App Store or Google Play. Renders that fail do not cost credits.
Who owns the photos I generate?
You do. Provided you hold the rights to the source photos you uploaded, the generated images are yours to use commercially — listings, ads, packaging, social posts. See the Terms of Use for the full wording.
Can I use AI product photos on Etsy, Amazon or Shopify?
Generally yes, but the image must still represent what the buyer receives, and some marketplaces have their own disclosure rules for AI-generated imagery. Check the policy of the platform you sell on, and never show a variant, size or finish you do not actually ship.
Will it change my label or invent text?
The app is explicitly instructed to preserve your label text, language and logo. Fine print can still render imperfectly at small sizes — check every image before publishing, and add a sharper, straight-on photo of the front if a label comes back soft.
Can I photograph several products together?
Yes. Collection scenes arrange multiple products in one frame — stepped podiums, a lineup, a leaning stack, a flat-lay grid — with each product rendered as itself.
Can I copy the look of a photo I like?
Yes. Add it as an inspiration image and the app recreates its composition, lighting and mood with your product, without copying any text or logos from it.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no email or password. The app creates an anonymous ID on your device, which is also how your library comes back after a reinstall.
What happens to my photos?
They are stored privately so your library survives a reinstall, and they are processed only to generate and analyse the images you ask for. They are never sold, never used for ads, and you can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app. See the Privacy Policy.
How long does a photo take?
About a minute. The progress bar is paced by real recent render times rather than a fake counter.

Yes — the app is built for both iPhone and Android from the same codebase.
